Horse Betting Rules
- Gameday Sportsbook reserves the right to refuse any wager
- BetGameDay will allow wagers up to 1 minute before the scheduled post time. The time left to wager on each race is made available on the website. Any tickets placed after the official off time will be voided and the wager amount will be refunded.
- Once you confirm a bet online, your decision is considered final.
- BetGameDay pays full track odds on win, place, and show only. All exotic bets have certain caps and limits (view limits)
- In the event there is a wager made with no track results or payout information posted, the wager will be refunded. An example could be a reduced field where a trifecta and superfecta were cancelled.
- Tickets cannot be graded until the official results have been posted. Funds will be credited to your account usually within 20 minutes after the race has been made official
- BetGameDay does not offer Consolation payouts. We are not a pari-mutuel outfit therefore we are not obligated to return money via a consolation payout. All scratches on multi race exotics result in a refund ONLY.
- In the event of a horse being scratched money will be refunded after the race is made official.
- Scratches on multi race exotics-Any scratches after the first leg of the multi race ticket that has been completed with a loss will result in a losing ticket. An example would be if your first race lost and your horse in the next race was scratched. Any scratches occurring in the later legs following a winning bet will result in a refund ONLY.
- Coupled Horses-Horses that belong to one owner or under one trainer running in the same race are "coupled" together. When you bet on one you also get the other; you get horse 1 and horse 1 a, for example. When one of the coupled horses wins, both horses win. In the event of a scratch you have action, unless both coupled horses scratch.
- Field Entry-When there are a large amount of horses running in a race, several horses are grouped together as field horses. For payouts and refunds, the same rules as Coupled Entry apply.
